Permit Specialist Sam Mouser is packing up and moving to NYC, and we are hiring for his position.
The Film Permit Specialist position serves as a member of the Office of Film + Music permitting team and its primary work will be to coordinate the permitting of film productions operating in Seattle. This position’s work will require internal coordination across City departments and external relationships and coordination with community stakeholders and film productions to best support film production operating on public property in Seattle.
The Office of Film + Music, nested within the Office of Economic Development, is a Mayor’s Executive Office and assists the Mayor and City Council develop, analyze and implement policies and programs that represent the City’s economic development agenda. The Office of Film + Music executes the City’s mandate to support and grow the film and music industries as a critical component for a thriving economy by making Seattle a great place to make a living making film and music.
