Nominees for the 2010 Webby Awards were released this week in more than 100 categories, spanning segments such as online video, interactive advertising and mobile. The independent documentary film Sonicsgate: Requiem For A Team, which tells the story of how decisions by Schultz and others led to the Seattle Supersonics moving to Oklahoma City, received two nominations in the online video category. Director Jason Reid and the rest of the crew behind the film, which was released and distributed over the internet late last year, were nominated in the “Best Editing” and “Sports” categories. Vote for Sonicsgate in these categories for 14th Annual Webby Awards until April 29.
