Don’t miss your chance to catch the first collaborative performance effort between Youngstown Cultural Arts Center and the Central District Forum! “Expatriate,” a world-class performance featuring dialogue, dance and live music in an exploration of race, friendship, addiction, art and infamy makes its final curtain call this weekend. From the show’s official release: [“Expatriate follows the story of] Claudie and Alphine [two] African-American performing artists who flee to Europe to realize their starved American dreams. But as they soon discover, being the ‘exotics’ abroad may be a high price to pay for stardom.” The last show is scheduled to take place this Saturday, February 12 at 8:00 pm.
