Women in Film
Tonight marks the relocation of the Women in Film (WIF) “First Tuesday” gathering to the iconic Jewel Box Theater at the Rendezvous Lounge in Belltown. To celebrate the new space, WIF will help to kick off the web launch of SmartGirls’ Way, an organization dedicated to encouraging, enabling and empowering women entrepreneurs. Their brand new project, 100×100, will feature video vignettes of 100 women entrepreneurs from over 40 industries across the United State telling their start-up stories. The videos will live on the web and last for the next 20 weeks.

September 6th sees the relocation of the Women in Film (WIF) “First Tuesday” gathering, which will move to the iconic Belltown Rendezvous Lounge. To kick off the new space, WIF helps to kick off the web launch of SmartGirls’ Way, an organization dedicated to encouraging, enabling and empowering women entrepreneurs. The First Tuesday will also include a talk by WIF staff about their upcoming 6-week Adobe After Effects workshop, launching September 12th. Finally, on September 24th, the Manhattan Short Film Festival settles into West Seattle’s Admiral Theater. Ten short films were chosen by professional producers, directors, and actors and the screening audience at the Admiral Theater will choose the ultimate winner.
