Next week marks the debut of the Bollywood Panorama Outdoor Film Series, which is sponsored by the Seattle Asian Art Museum. The free screenings will take place Friday nights at the Volunteer Park amphitheatre and feature four popular Indian films, including 2007’s The Namesake (starring Kal Penn, Tabu and Irffan Khan) and 1991s’ Taal (starring Aishwarya Rai).

Join KCTS 9 at the Seattle Asian Art Museum on Tuesday March 16 at 7:00 pm for an exclusive preview of the documentary, The Buddha, a film by award-winning filmmaker David Grubin. The two-hour documentary explores the story of the enlightened Indian sage using animation and also highlights parts of the Buddha’s world in present-day India.
