CATCH THE SCHOOL OF ROCK’S SHOWCASE TRIBUTE TO JUDAS PRIEST
School of Rock
The School of Rock is the nation’s premier performance – based rock music program. They accept students from ages 8-18 and turn them into genuine rock stars. Students receive 45 minute private lessons on the instrument of their choice (Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keyboards or vocals). Students also participate in weekly 3 hour supervised rehearsals to prepare them for the main event, THE SHOW! The final show of the season will feature the music of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest at El Corazon on the very same stage Iron Maiden played many years ago. This time, the shredding music of Maiden will be accompanied by Judas Priest in an epic metal display by the Seattle School of Rockers, and we’re even sneaking in a few tracks by The Pixies opening the show by a group of students performing in their very first show ever! Students receive 45 minute private lessons on the instrument of their choice (Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keyboards or vocals). The students have been working exceptionally hard to learn the intricate and detailed style of music that is Radiohead. This will be the most electronically based show they’ve done, plus the sound system at the Croc combined with the ambient sounds of Radiohead will prove to be an amazing musical experience. The second show is geared more towards adults- it is 21+ and will also feature a special set by The Sleepy Eyes of Death afterwards. Shows are on June 5 at The Crocodile, with one show at 6:00 pm and another 21+ at 9:30 pm. For more information follow the link.
