West Seattle Movies
Now in its seventh year, the West Seattle Outdoor Movie series lineup has been announced. Save the dates for these free family friendly films. Located at in the courtyard at 4410 California Ave SW between Hotwire Coffee and Dr. Wolff. All movies start at dusk and are FREE. Gates open at 6:30pm. On Saturday, July 17th they will play Mamma Mia, July 24 War Games, July 31 Fantastic Mr. Fox, August 7 Star Trek, August 14 Wayne’s World, and August 21 is Up. For more information follow the link.
OUTDOOR FILMS HELP SEATTLE CELEBRATE SUMMER

Summer is here (in theory), and what better way to enjoy it than catching a flick under the stars. Opportunities abound from Kirkland to West Seattle to Renton and all the places in between. The Twilight films are popular picks, playing at Carillon Point, Everett Cinema, Mercer Island, Liberty Park and the Mural Ampitheatre. Other highlights include Gentlemen Prefer Blondes at Cal Anderson Park on July 16, The Sandlot at Redhook Ale Brewery on July 29, and Metropolis with live accompaniment by the Super 8s at Fremont Studios on July 31. Coastal Boutique in West Seattle has announced it will be showing outdoor movies the second Saturday of each month this June, July and August, at dusk in the gravel lot next to the store. This Saturday, June 12, they are showing Blue Crush; July 10 will be Pirates of the Caribbean; and August 14 will be Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle. It’s a bring-your-own-chair event.
