Queen Anne Farmer’s Market
The Queen Anne Farmer’s Market is looking for musicians to perform throughout their upcoming season. The market is open every Thursday between May 20 and October 7 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. The market will provide a tent for shade or rain. Performances are unpaid. However, the market encourages musicians to have a tip jar and to sell merchandise at their performances. Currently, they are interested in scheduling musicians who play acoustic instruments with no, or very light, amplification. Interested musicians should email julie@qafma.org with the group’s information and preferred performance dates.
MUSICIANS: PLAY AT “SUMMER CONCERTS AT HIAWATHA”
West Seattle Blog
Presented for the first time last year, the Admiral Neighborhood Association’s Summer Concerts at Hiawatha were an instant hit. Planning for this year’s Thursday night outdoor-concert series (July 29 –September 2) is now under way, and ANA President Katy Walum has put out the call for musicians. If you’re interested, e-mail Katy at katy.walum@gmail.com. Please include any special setup or sound requirements in the email.
