Seattle Times:
Now in its 14th year, Mostly Nordic is a chamber-music series that mixes a strong ethnic stamp with adventurous programming and quality musicianship. Curated by pianist Lisa Bergman, the concerts touch down in one Scandinavian country per month. This month, Iceland is in the spotlight. Violinist Elfa Rún Kristinsdóttir will be joined by American pianist Deborah Dewey for a program of works by Icelandic composers Árni Björnsson, Jón Nordal and Haflidi Hallgrimsson. Robert Schumann’s Sonata for Violin and Piano, Opus 121, is also on the lineup.
