This Saturday, the world celebrates what would have been the 51st birthday of pop icon Michael Jackson. Following in the footsteps of Stockholm and Paris, hundreds of Seattlites will randomly appear in various places in the city center to perform popular Michael Jackson choreography in his honor. Flash mobs pop up in the middle of crowded cities, perform, and then disappear into the crowd. Warm-up and choreography will begin at Cal Anderson at 10:00am, then a dress rehearsal at 11:45am, followed by 1:00pm, 2:00pm and 3:00pm performances at secret locations in the city. The times/locations of each mob will change. Participation requires presence at the Saturday practice – the actual locations and times will be provided then.
