Fremont’s inaugural LoveFest happens this weekend on Saturday, September 11 at Solsticio’s Doorstep. The event was created by first time festival makers, Jeremy Westfall and Jake Shaw. The initial brainstorm grew to a substantial lineup with rap, rock, reggae, as well as Latin and electronica. The pair included local favorites Common Market, Flowmotion, Clinton Fearon and Luc & the Lovingtons. About half of the proceeds will go to charities such as ROAR, a Seattle nonprofit that helps out the homeless. For more information about LoveFest, follow the link.
