Kickstarter
Seattle-based filmmaker Sam Graydon is using Kickstarter to raise funds for his latest production Pretty Face and Green My Eyes. Written and directed by Graydon, the short delves into the emotions of nostalgic longing for youth, the ways we hold on, and the wonder that comes when rediscovering feelings that we thought were gone forever–all while set in the distinctly Seattle backdrop of the early 90s grunge explosion. The film’s script was a finalist for the 2011 IFP Spotlight award and the Seattle production team and crew members are committed to seeing it through, but need your help. Check out the Kickstarter link above to watch a teaser for the film and to donate to the project. Incentives for donating to the project include signed DVDs, producer credits and even a role in the film! Also, you can attend a fundraising concert for the project Friday, April 1, at the High Dive in Fremont with performances from See Me River (a local band featured in the film) and two other Seattle artists, Whiskey Tango (from MTV’s $5 Cover) and Ghosts I’ve Met.
