Visqueen’s new record Message to Garcia was praised yesterday on CNN by Current.com’s Peter Grumbine. Grumbine says, “This is a straight-up rock and roll album but it’s as good as any soul music I’ve heard recently… This is one of my top three records of the year.” After discussing Joss Stone for a few minutes, Grumbine praises the record at length around the 4:45 mark.
