The Seattle Latino Film Festival (SLFF) is proud to present the Argentinean film El Camino de San Diego (The Road to San Diego). The event will take place Sunday April 10th at the Microsoft Auditorium of the Seattle Central Public Library, 1000 4TH Avenue. The screening (in Spanish with English subtitles), which is part of SLFF’s 2011 Latino Film Series, is free and open to the public; seating at 1:30 p.m. El Camino de San Diego, directed by Carlos Sorín, is about a young Argentine that learns that soccer star Diego Armando Maradona is ailing in a Buenos Aires hospital, and resolves to bring him a tree root he’s discovered. The screening is presented in partnership with the Seattle Central Public Library, the INCAA, and the Consulate of Argentina in Los Angeles in collaboration with Carlos Sorín.
