Greg Vandy of KEXP’s The Roadhouse radio show produced a short documentary film on old time folk musician Frank Fairfield. Working with director Austin Wilson, the co-founder and creative director of More Dust Than Digital the Seattle based video based production company, the team divulges into the life and mind of a young musician with of a love of 78RPM records and “eternal” music. Their film has been accepted by South By Southwest, Indie Grits Film Fest Festival, Memphis International Film Festival, LA Film + Music Festival and will screen at the Seattle International Film Festival on May 29 and 30. The short documentary will be screened as part of the festival with the movie Surrogate Valentine. You can watch the official trailer here.
