Applications are now available for Project Support grants intended to support small arts organizations and community service groups through matching grants for specific arts events targeted to a public audience in two rounds every year. On average, more than 70 organizations receive project support funds. This funding supports a diverse array of performances, workshops, and participation opportunities from Anacortes to Wenatchee. Round One: Deadline is May 3, 2010, for projects taking place between July 1, 2010, and December 31, 2010. Round Two: Deadline is October 4, 2010, for projects taking place between January 1, 2011, and June 30, 2011. For more information, follow the above link.

King County artist, musician, filmmaker, writer, social service group, community youth center, neighborhood festival, dance company, ensemble theater or other group are encouraged to apply for 4Culture’s 2010 Arts Projects Funding Programs. The funding programs are open to individual artists and groups who need funding for an upcoming shows, projects, performances, or exhibitions in the next year.
