MABFF
Mid Atlantic Black Film Festival aims to provide a cultural alternative to the commercial film experience; to support independent artists and the presentation of independent film; and promote the art of filmmaking itself with a focus on the development of creativity and ideas. Open to independently-produced works in diverse genres (including dramas, biographies, documentaries, docudramas, comedies, etc.) that have been written, directed, or produced by a person of African descent or that tell a story about the Black experience and/or feature a person of African descent in a lead role.
