Nouela Johnson is the Seattle singer-songwriter who performs under the moniker People Eating People. Her debut self-titled record came out last year and is being re-released this year. You can stream the entire album on Spinner.com, the streaming website which allows you to listen to entire albums for one week. Johnston’s former band, Mon Frere, won EMP’s Sound Off! competition back in 2004, and People Eating People is slated to play a free concert at EMP tomorrow evening as well as Bumbershoot this Labor day.
