Every Day is a Journey is a synergistic narrative film series with no predetermined arc, told in six chapters, written and directed by six distinct Seattle-area filmmakers, premiering for the first time ever in its entirety on Wednesday, May 18 at SIFF cinema. Conceived by Seattle’s “RAWSTOCK Mafia” (Justin Freet, William Russell, Dylan Noebels and Jason Reid), the composite film tells the story of small time grifters and yoga enthusiasts, quickly accelerating into an operatic crime drama involving numerous kidnappings and unexpected pathos. The RAWSTOCK roster of directors includes Christian Palmer, director of William Never Married and producer of the Sundance hit The Oregonian, and Jason Reid, director of the Webby Award-winning documentary Sonicsgate: Requiem for a Team and Man Zou: Beijing to Shanghai.
