The American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) and National Priorities Project (NPP) are sponsoring a youth video project to help young people (high school and college age) enter the cost of war discussion. Share your ideas about what you would do – for yourself, your family and your community – with $1 trillion. Entries must be produced by youth between the ages of 13 and 23, and the films must be between 1 and 3 minutes. All videos will address the $1 trillion price tag for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The first prize winner will receive $500 and trip for 2 to Washington, DC to show video to home legislator. The second and third prize winners will each receive flip video cameras.
