The December issue of Seattle Metropolitan Magazine will hit the stands this weekend and it’s all about Seattle movies! “The world knows we’re a movie-loving city,” Steve Wieckling writes, “but Seattle has a criminally unheralded history as a movie making city, too.” In the issue, the editors’ curated celluloid history tells the tale of how Seattle grew up on-screen and they choose 11 films that defined Seattle’s cinematic persona from Tugboat Annie to Humpday. The issue also features “the movie Seattle saved.” Click the above link to find out more and be sure to pick up a copy this weekend when it hits newsstands!
