EMP|SFM is hiring two positions in their marketing department. The Media Communications Manager at EMP|SFM is responsible for developing, managing and executing all aspects of the institution’s public relations activities, programs and communications. Responsibilities include planning and implementing the organization’s public communications strategies, policies, and procedures in the areas of media relations, speechwriting, collateral materials, special programs and events; representing the organization to the press and public by acting as EMP|SFM’s lead media liaison and spokesperson; writing, editing, preparing and distributing press releases, press kits and media alerts in a timely manner, adhering to various media deadlines; and more. The Senior Marketing Manager at EMP|SFM is responsible for marketing, advertising, promotions, and overall branding strategy for the museum. In coordination with the Director of Marketing and Audience Development, major responsibilities include developing and implementing short- and long-range goals and overall marketing strategy.
