Join the Seattle Symphony Orchestra this Friday, January 7, for a free community performance and meet-and-greet! Assistant Conductor Eric Garcia will lead the Orchestra and guest bassoon soloist Andrew Brady in a program featuring Mozart’s Bassoon Concerto in B-flat major, K. 191; Honegger’s Pastorale d’été; and Haydn’s Symphony No. 47 in G major. After the concert, audience members are invited to mingle with symphony members at a post-performance reception in City Hall’s Bertha Knight Landes Room. This special performance is part of Seattle Symphony’s ACCESS Project (Artistic and Cultural Community Engagement with Seattle Symphony), which is dedicated to bringing classical music to local communities, particularly under-served areas. The concert takes place noon to 1:00 pm in the Seattle City Hall lobby. For more details, check out the link.
