Beacon Rocks!
Are you a local musician looking for an opportunity to showcase your talent or a chance to simply share your tunes with the Seattle community? Check out “Beacon Rocks!” a free volunteer run outdoor music series at Lander Festival Street, adjacent to the Beacon Hill light rail station. The performances take place on the last Sunday of June, July and August, from 1:00-5:00 pm. All styles of music and entertainment are welcome at these family friendly Beacon Hill community events. Individuals or groups interested in performing can audition on March 19, April 2 or April 16 as part of the ongoing open mic series. Performers may also submit by sending links to music samples or descriptions of their performances to beaconrocks@gmail.com. Beacon Rocks! is presented by Beacon Hill Music, a community group formed to promote music, musicians and fans of music in the Beacon Hill neighborhood. The events build community ties, while celebrating a diverse and culturally rich neighborhood. Last year’s Beacon Rocks! was a big success, so get involved and make this year’s even better.
