I Am Secretly An Important Man is a new documentary film, currently in post-production, about the life of Steven J. Bernstein (AKA Jesse Bernstein). Jesse was a local Sup Pop recording artist and spoken word poet who also appeared in the 1990 Seattle film Shredder Orpheus. Jesse’s career was cut short when he took his own life in 1991.
